Dry Fly IPA Session Ale

Dry Fly session ale is a lighter, more balanced version of an American IPA. We are showcasing two distinct American hop varieties in this low ABV beer. Citra brings aromatic characteristics of grapefruit, melon and notes of passion fruit. Mosaic rounds out the aroma with more tropical notes of tangerine and papaya.
We used these two hops exclusively throughout the brewing process but were a bit heavier handed at the end of boil. Generous amounts were added during dry-hopping lay over to create a well attenuated malt bill.
We have been producing this beer in the summertime for the last four years and are excited to bring this beer out of the R&D brewery and into package for the first time. We chose a name that is representative of one of our owner’s favorite past-times – fly fishing. We were lucky enough to have a good friend and local wildlife artist, Al Agnew, create the original artwork for the label. We invite you to sit back, relax and have a “session” with one of our favorite session ales.
