Movie Night in The Gardens: Good Burger

The fifth and final movie in our 2022 Beer, Pizza and a Movie in The Gardens series is a 1997 American comedy film directed by Brian Robbins and written by Dan Schneider with Kevin Kopelow and Heath Seifert. Starring Kel Mitchell and Kenan Thompson, it is based on the comedy sketch of the same name of the Nickelodeon series All That.

A dim-witted teenager and his new coworker try to save the old burger joint they work for from failing after the opening of a brand new burger restaurant across the street, which’s planning to put them out of business.

Seating is limited so come early and grab some pizza and pints!

We will be open late this evening with the kitchen remaining open until 9:30 p.m. Each movie night features themed menu specials.

New for this year – Ruby’s Ice Cream and The Popcorn Corner will be serving during movie nights.

This is a free-to-attend event and kids are welcome. Please, no outside food or drink is allowed.

Crush Festival in The Gardens 2021

Crush Festival in The Gardens at Public House and St. James Winery is Saturday, August 21st. This annual celebration is a fun and family-friendly way to kick off the Missouri grape harvest season.
Begin the day with an old-fashioned grape stomp, to be held in the parking lot from 11 am – 3 pm. Then, enjoy entertainment, a cold drink, and a bite to eat in The Gardens. Local musician Justyn Moreland performs live from Noon – 2 pm. From 2 pm – 3 pm, our friends at Independent Stave Company take center stage for a live cooperage demo. Watch up-close the art of crafting barrels that are used to age fine spirits, St. James Winery wine, and Public House Brewing Company beers. After the cooperage demo, local musician Mark Moebeck will perform from 3 pm – 5:30 pm, followed by a live cooking demonstration from our friends at US Foods. During the cooking demo, a Chef from US Foods will wow us with techniques and flavor combinations using some of your favorite Public House beers. To finish this fun-filled day of celebration, the local duo The Velvet Bricks takes the music stage at 6 pm and plays until 9 pm.
Crush Festival in The Gardens is a grape-stomping, toe-tapping, flavor-savoring way to kick off harvest season. We hope to see you, your family, your friends, and your pets on Saturday, August 21st, beginning at 11 am.
