Public House Brewing Company is excited to be the official beer sponsor of this year’s Big BAM on Route 66 and Big BAM on the Katy Trail! These two cycling events offer the best of Missouri and are open to both experienced and novice cyclists. If you don’t have a bike or a desire to ride – you can still be a big part of these events by joining us any (or every) evening in the featured community stops. Each community stop will feature a free concert paired with your favorite Public House Brewing Company beers.

Big Bam on Route 66 starts in Joplin, June 17 and ends in Eureka, June 22. This Big BAM (Bike Across Missouri) is a 304 mile journey that features rolling hills, beautiful roads, great people and small town hospitality. Big BAM on the Katy Trail will be October 7 through October 12 starting in Clinton and ending in St. Charles. This route is 311 miles along the Katy Trail, offering riders a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the great outdoor scenery Missouri offers during the fall.

This event attracts approximately 800 riders from across the United States and abroad. Canadian rider Judy Siebert has participated in Big BAM since its start in 2015. As quoted in the Columbia Missourian, Siebert said, “You meet the nicest people – it’s a great community of friends. And it gets you fit, too. Life isn’t going to wait for you to grab it. You gotta go out and grab the fun. And it is fun; it’s fun for sure.”
