STYLE: Gose

Over a thousand years ago, in Goslar, Germany, where the waters of the Abzucht and Gose meet, the recently popularized gose-style beer was born. (pronounced “go-suh.”)

In addition to malted barley, we also brew with malted wheat, sweet orange peel, and pink Himalayan salt, defying the standard, “pure” notion of German beer, but sticking true to the traditional rogue nature of this style.

Next we move into new innovations with fermentation to produce a rigorous amount of lactic acid, which gives this beer its signature sharp, refreshing sourness.  Perfect for the dog days of summer. Cheers!
