Public House Updates

UPDATE: 4/03/2020

Public House Community,

During these unprecedented times, we, like so many others have suffered from significant downturn in business. This has forced us to stretch ourselves very thin between our locations. In an effort to stay concentrated on the community and prepare ourselves to come out on the other side of this stronger than ever, we have made a difficult decision. As of close of business today, Thursday, April 2nd we will temporarily close the Public House St James Taproom for curb side pickup and carryout service.

Our production team will still be hard at work producing your favorite Public House brews to ship to our wholesale and retail partners across the state. The Rolla brewpub will remain open!!! We will be extending our model to include delivery service starting tomorrow, Friday, April 3rd. We are also working on extending our curbside and delivery service to seven days a week.

For those of you that would still like to pick-up beer closer to St. James we will be offering curbside pickup of Public House beer at the St James Winery Tasting Room.

We will keep you informed as the situation evolves. For real-time updates per location, you can follow the local Taproom social media pages for updates.

Stay safe and take care,
Public House Brewing Company

UPDATE: 3/20/202

The world is changing and so are we…

Our most valued patrons,

Due to the recent events, we are closing our tasting room and dining room in both the Rolla and St. James locations for dine-in service effective after closing this evening Fri., Mar. 20 which will be at midnight for Rolla and 11 p.m. for the St. James Taproom. This is the right decision as social distancing is the only way we as a community will stop the spread of COVID-19.

We are happy to announce that we will be continuing our operations through carryout and curbside takeout. Our new hours of operation will be in effect Sat., Mar. 21. You can call either location to place your order:
Rolla • 573-426-2337 • with the following hours of operation:
Monday – Saturday: 11 a.m. – 9 p.m.

St James • 573-261-3333 • with the following hours of operation:
Wednesday – Sunday: 11 am – 9pm
Closed Monday and Tuesday

In an effort to keep our quality, we are shortening our existing menu to help keep up operational efficiency and ensure we are delivering great food! Our menu will be focused around our Farm Fresh Pizza, craft beer and wine.

Also, in an effort to keep people safe and extend our service, the team is working on setting up online ordering. We will let you know as soon as this option is available.

The team is also working on an effort to set up delivery services – offering free delivery for beer, wine and pizza.

As always we appreciate the love and support our communities have shown us over the last 9 years of operation. We are working diligently to work on new ways for you to engage with our brand. As things around us continue to change so shall we. Please be patient, stay safe and carry on!
Slainte!

UPDATE: 3/13/2020

Dear Friends,

The team at Public House Brewing Company is closely monitoring the evolving situation surrounding COVID-19. We are continuing to follow the recommendations of our public health officials.

Currently, both the Rolla brewpub and St James Taproom are open to the public. Our staff is providing a clean, safe environment for our guests while employing increased cleanliness procedures. In conjunction with our monitoring and understanding of the situation, we will be instituting some changes to our current operations in an effort to help keep everyone safe.

  • Tours – To maintain cleanliness in our production spaces, we will be canceling brewery tours until further notice.
  • Growlers – Until further notice, we will not be re-filling any growlers brought in to either location. We will continue to fill growlers that are newly purchased from the taproom.
  • Packaged Beer – We will continue to offer packaged beer for sale in both locations.
  • Curbside Pickup – We would like to extend the offer for call-in orders and curbside pickup of Public House Products.

For our team members throughout the Public House family, we have and will continue to provide up-to-date information to keep themselves and their families safe. We have communicated various preventative measures and have advised staff to stay home if needed.

We encourage all to follow public health authority guidance on this matter. For more information, you can view recommendations from the World Health Organization here.

On behalf of everyone at Public House Brewing Company, we greatly appreciate your support and look forward to your next visit. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Sincerely,
Josh Stacy, Owner
