Dry Fly IPA

Public House Brewing Company is excited to announce the release of our newest beer, Dry Fly IPA Session Ale! This beer is so great we decided to feature in our upcoming new Taproom Sampler release.

Our Dry Fly IPA is a lighter, more balanced version of a typical American India Pale Ale. We are showcasing two distinct American hop varieties in this low ABV beer. Citra hops bring aromatic characteristics of grapefruit, melon and notes of passion fruit. Mosaic hops round out the aroma with more tropical notes of tangerine and papaya.

We used these two hops exclusively throughout the brewing process but were a bit heavier handed at the end of boil. Generous amounts were added during dry-hopping lay over for a well attenuated malt bill.

PHBC has produced this beer in the summertime for the last four years, and we are excited to bring this beer out of the R&D Brewery and into package for the first time. The inspiration for the name is representative of one of our co-founder’s favorite past-times, fly fishing. We were lucky enough to have a good friend and local wildlife artist, Al Agnew, create the original artwork for the label. You are invited to sit back, relax and have a “session” with one of our favorite session ales.
